Review: This lesson focuses on comparing fast food menu items in terms of fat and caloric content in addition to identifying the options students have at restaurants. Students are to use this cool website that allows them to select a fast food restaurant and search for their favorite meal. Then, it reports out nutritional information and healthier options at that restaurant. Having a site that will compare the kids' selection with healthier options is a great tool that helps reiterates the learning targets of this assignment. In addition, students are expected to use a spreadsheet program to record and graph results.

Review: This lesson is for perhaps a language arts course where students select a poem to present to the class. Not only are they verbally reciting the poem, but they are expected to enhance this presentation with multimedia. Students should create slides that incorporate graphics, images, or anything else that will help get the message of their poem across to the audience. I think incorporating this time of imagery in a verbal presentation is a great way to capture the audience's attention and engage them throughout the duration of the presentation.

Review: This lesson is a great example of taking information and using online tools to create graphs and other imagery to enhance learning. When students are required to manipulate the data they've uncovered, it servers as a great reinforcement and learning opportunity.
